"Thank you Mr. Lee for being on the record that the office should not be an elected post to be managed by some political hack and instead should be consolidated into the courts system. No more government waste! Mr. Lee you should be the republican here and you have earned my vote."
"I am writing to voice my support for Ken Lee as Prothonotary of Cumberland County. Ken is a person who will be actively involved with the office to insure it is competently managed so all may be treated fairly and respectfully. Ken’s ideas, which include eventually eliminating all row offices, are a sound basis to assist in moving Cumberland County in a positive direction and to prepare for the future growth of our county. He is a knowledgeable and involved individual who can get things done."
"Money, money, money, something we heard for 101 days while awaiting on our elected state officials to agree upon a state budget. Just like our state officials have created a budget, the local Cumberland County Commissioners have the same yearly task. May I suggest to them to not only listen to Ken Lee, the Democratic Candidate for Cumberland County Prothonotary, but encourage them to also vote for Ken as his plan to eliminate not only the Prothonotary’s office, but other antiquated row offices in county government, could result in our tax dollars being utilized more effectively and efficiently, and to the benefit of the residents of Cumberland County."
“Let’s have our government run more like a company or corporate!!” This is a variation of phrases stated in the past few years during national, state or local elections. So why not vote for a candidate who wants to eliminate our Cumberland County Row Offices, including the office for which he is a candidate for Prothonotary? So why not vote for a candidate who wants to assist in creating and instituting a Department of Court Administration headed by a an appointed (which means they can be fired) trained professional not subjected to political partisan ship? So why not vote for a candidate who actively wants to solve a critical problem within our county? So why not vote for a candidate who does not want to advance a political career? So why not vote for Ken Lee for Prothonotary of Cumberland County?
"Prothonotary definition from Merriam-Webster dictionary: “a chief clerk of any of various courts of law.” In Cumberland County, the Prothonotary Office is the Clerk of Courts for all civil cases filed in a county. Now, let’s go a little deeper. Our courts consist of judges, plaintiffs, defendants, and attorneys. Ken Lee is an attorney and wants to be our next Cumberland County Prothonotary. If you vote on the true qualifications of a candidate and not on the their political affiliation or the fact they wish to USE an elected office to further their political career, then I suggest your vote on Tuesday, November 3, should be for Ken Lee, Prothonotary of Cumberland County. Mine will."
"The point Mr. Evans makes is also being advanced by several other candidates. Ken Lee, who is running for Prothonotary, is probably making the most noise about getting rid of these elected jobs. Lee has a website if you just Google his name. There was a debate with his Republican opponent which the PN covered and he made it clear how outdated these row offices have become."
"We can elect a sales rep for a building supply company who will consult with attorneys or we can elect an actual attorney? Gee, that is a no-brainer; Mr. Lee, you have my vote!"
